The Fulham Prep School is a co-educational
Pre-Prep and Prep School providing continuous education
for children between the ages of 4+ and 13.
Fulham Prep is a family-run school, founded in September 1996, by the present Head, Mrs Jane Emmett, who has over 30 years experience in education, having taught in both the state and independent sectors.
The challenging academic programme at Fulham Prep is broadly based on National Curriculum guidelines but is extended to meet the more rigorous requirements of the 11+ and 13+ entrance examinations.
No class has more than 20 children, ensuring maximum individual attention. Our enthusiastic, graduate teachers create a challenging, happy and disciplined environment within which every child can achieve their full potential.
Transfer from the Pre-Prep School to the Prep School is usually automatic and our Pre-Prep children are not expected to sit an entry exam to the Prep. However, it should be noted that we do not prepare children for 7+ or 8+ entry exams.
Education is about developing children's curiosity, confidence and security, encouraging them to learn, to try and to believe that they can achieve. The Fulham Prep School enables children to maximise their individual interests and abilities.
