London Youth Games

On Thursday 28th June the U11 mixed hockey team represented Hammersmith and Fulham at the London Youth Games in Crystal Palace. Three girls, Eliza, Ellie and Mikaela, were also selected for the U11 swimming team. The hockey team made a great start winning the first 3 games, and then drawing their final pool game, making them winners of the pool as they went through to the quarter finals. The quarter final was a draw so it went to a nail biting penalty flick competiton, which we won following some excellent saves from Stephanie and goals from the boys. After losing a hard semi final, they finally came 3rd overall out of the 32 boroughs who were in the hockey compeition. Excellent!!!!

Despite a wet and wintry morning, the annual Fulahm Prep Sports Day was once again a huge success! Thank you to all the parents who huddled under umbrellas and supported the children. The final results were...
